I encoutered a new problem with Tech Preview 2. When restarting Vivaldi, earlier tabs appear without the url line and without the back or rewind button. Tabs will open, but if I try something like searching the site, the whole program shuts down. Also, in this condition, w/o url showing, core temperature rises.
I tried downgrading to an earlier snapshot where this problem did not appear, but there it was. Also tried deleting current tabs before starting Vivaldi. Same problem.
If I start a new tab, back button appears, but if I shut down and restart, back button does not appear. Wondering if others have this problem and can advise on something I am doing wrong. I was using Vivaldi as my default browser, crazy I know, but this problem has driven me back to Opera 12x.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
I tried disabling tab color and tab stacking, and the back button is back!!! I like the tab color, but can live without it for now.
In Vivaldi 1.0.118.19 (Developer Build) (Tech Preview 2) I haven’t got issues like this. Everything fine when restarting, URL and back buttons are fine, and I can search in the earlier tabs. But when I start it i hearing the fan to spin up, so I think i have some temperature rises too.
